MINI WINS ‘VALUE CHAMPION’ TITLE FOR TENTH TIME IN A ROW

February 12, 2014

In Europe, where cars overall are smaller and the battle for market share among compact vehicles is far fiercer than in the U.S., MINI, represented in South Florida by Braman MINI of Palm Beach, has won the title of ‘Value Champion’ for the tenth time in a row.

And, for the first time, it is the MINI Countryman that has been voted as the car with the highest value retention level its class on the German car market. The MINI Cooper S Countryman gained the top position in the small car category of the ranking list published in the ‘Auto Bild’ motoring magazine, making it the ‘Value Champion 2014’. It follows in the footsteps of the MINI and MINI Cabrio, which ever since 2005 had been alternately winning the top position for outstanding value retention.

Since its launch, the first MINI with four doors and large tailgate has developed into a worldwide success, attracting new customer groups who are excited to discover the brand’s trademark driving fun.  With three performance levels from Cooper to Cooper S to John Cooper Works, plus available ALL4 all-wheel drive, there are many ways to outfit a Countryman. Both manual and automatic six-speed transmissions are also available.

The MINI Cooper S Countryman has not only successfully translated the unmistakable style of the brand into one that suits a new vehicle segment but it also enhances its characteristic agility in a decidedly sporty manner.  It’s perfectly coordinated four-wheel drive results in an optimum level of road stability, while the attractive vehicle design also guarantees maximum value stability.

The title may be European, but the resale value of MINIs in the U.S. is equally impressive so the ‘Value Champion’ ranking can therefore be regarded as an important aid to customers when it comes to choosing a new vehicle.  This award, the latest in a long line from countries around the world, is yet further proof of how much investing in typical MINI riding fun pays for itself in the long run.

The Countryman is available for lease at Braman MINI in West Palm Beach for $209 per month for 36 months, including 3-year, 36,000-mile ‘Boot to Bonnet’ No Cost Maintenance.  If you’re interested in buying, get 0.9% APR for 12 to 48 months.  Braman MINI carries the full line of MINI vehicles, and has a large number of Countryman models in stock.
